THEFTS — Frances Wahlstrom, 20000 block of Peterson Road, Wednesday reported an identity theft.
Alfred Dahmen, 20000 block of 273rd Street, Wednesday reported the theft of items from a barn.
Billy Young, 10000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3, Wednesday reported the theft of tools.
BURGLARIES — Dawn Statine, 10000 block of Ahrens Hill Circle, Wednesday reported a break-in.
Roy Bridge on Wednesday reported a cabin on the 5000 block of Wildamere Drive was broken into.
FIRES — At 6:29 p.m. Wednesday a fire was reported in a barn with animals inside on the 20000 block of 168th Street in Pierz.
Responded with the DNR and Foley Fire Department to a grass fire at 1:39 p.m. Wednesday on 340th Avenue in Foley.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY — At 9:24 p.m. Wednesday a resident on the 400 block of Washington Street reported two unknown men entered his residence and then left after an argument. An officer located the two listed subjects, who claimed to be members of the “Downtown Patrol,” and said they found an open door. The suspects were advised to stay away from private residences.
At 8:01 p.m. Wednesday a man reported four or five kids riding bikes and wearing their hats backward had mooned him and his girlfriend on the 1000 block of Rosewood Street. Officers were unable to locate the kids.
At 3:42 p.m. Wednesday a man at the Brainerd Public Library, 416 S. Fifth St., reported he was afraid the group of teens outside the library were going to assault or rob him. An officer arrived and observed a male smoking and loitering. The male had been told previously not to loiter outside the library and was issued a citation for loitering.
ARRESTS — At 8:30 p.m. Wednesday officers responded to a fight on the 800 block of South Eighth Street and arrested a 31-year-old man for felony probation violation, gross misdemeanor obstruction of legal process with force, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor fifth-degree assault; and a 20-year-old man for felony probation violation.
CRASH — No injuries were reported in a crash at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday at Northwest Fourth and West Washington streets.
THEFT — A $10 gas drive-off was reported Wednesday from SuperAmerica, 421 W. Washington St.
