Police blotter- May 20
THEFT — A gas drive-off for $45.66 was reported May 13 at Moonlite Square.
ARRESTS — On May 13 officers received a report of an intoxicated female being assaultive at a residence. Upon arrival of officers, the female was uncooperative, removing her clothing and screaming at officers. Charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing legal process.
At 11:30 p.m. on April 24 and officer was conducting a walk-through at Zorbaz when the bartender stated he was having issues with one of the patrons. The intoxicated man was told to leave but he refused and after several minutes of shouting at the officer he was arrested for disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. One of the man’s friends, who also was intoxicated, became involved and threatening toward the officer. The friend was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing the legal process and indecent exposure for urinating in front of the officer and several patrons.
FIRE — At 1:13 a.m. on May 9, officers received a reported of a structure fire at the residence of Linda Walinski on the 10000 block of Pine Lure Road. An officer responded with Crosslake Fire, Fifty Lakes Fire and North Ambulance. The structure was a garage and was almost completely gone upon arrival. The fire was put out and Crow Wing Power was notified of overhead power lines. The garage was a total loss and the cause of the fire wasn’t known. Two Jet Skis were close by and sustained damage. The neighbors’ garage also had some of the siding melt.
911 HANG-UP — At 3:15 p.m. on May 3 officers received a 911 hang-up in the area of Headquarters Drive and Cross-Cut. Heard on the call were kids yelling in the background. An officer located the kids at the Crosslake Community School and a teacher told the officer that a child had a cellphone that was not supposed to be working.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — David Nelson on Wednesday reported property damaged on the 10000 block of West Twin Lake Road.
THEFT — A theft was reported Wednesday at Poke About, 30000 Highway 6 in Emily.
A theft was reported Wednesday at Beacon Shores Resort, 36859 Silver Peak Road.
Barbara Karkhoff, 20000 block of Bluegill Road, Wednesday reported a theft.
FIRE — A Dumpster fire was reported at 8:54 p.m. Wednesday on the 5000 block of Laverne Circle. It was unknown how the fire started. The Brainerd Fire Department responded and put the fire out.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — It was reported Wednesday that mailboxes, newspaper boxes and a for sale sign were damaged on the 5000 block of Fairview Road.
ATTEMPT TO LOCATE — The Crow Wing County Court Administrator’s office on Wednesday requested an officer locate a woman on the 1000 block of Norwood Street and advise her she had jury duty on Wednesday. Court administration reported they had been trying to locate her by phone and mail correspondence. An officer made contact with the subject and advised her as requested.
CRASHES — No injuries were reported in a crash at 3:28 p.m. Wednesday on the 200 block of South Eighth Street.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Northeast Washington Street.
THEFT — Brandi Erlacher, 600 block of Circle Pines Drive, on Wednesday reported a theft.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Brenda Zinken, 800 block of South Seventh Street, on Wednesday reported a tire slashed.
INVESTIGATION — It was reported at 11:40 a.m. Wednesday that an unknown woman presented a forged prescription for oxycodone at Thrifty White Pharmacy, 223 S. Eighth St.
