DRUG — A drug investigation was reported Thursday.
FIRE — Eric Pratt, Garrison, reported a vehicle fire on property at 8:16 p.m. Thursday.
BURGLARY — Duane Jamison, Ideal Township, Thursday reported a shed was broken into.
Wendy Bronstad, Garrison, Thursday reported a cabin was broken into.
ANIMAL — Marcene Seehafer, Crow Wing Township, Thursday reported being bit by a dog.
THEFT — Jenny Bartishofski, St. Mathias Township, Thursday reported the theft of a riding lawn mower.
Robert Hiller, Center Township, Thursday reported the theft of a pontoon trailer.
Donald Salentre, Bay Lake Township, Thursday reported the theft of a kayak, grill and other items.
Christopher Ryan, Deerwood, Thursday reported the theft of items from an estate sale.
ARREST — A 25-year-old Wadena man was arrested in Brainerd on a county warrant and is being held in Washington County Jail.
A 37-year-old Brainerd man and a 31-year-old Deerwood man were arrested Thursday on a county warrant.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Cherie Murdock Thursday reported that an item flew off a trailer and damaged her vehicle.
Jill Peterson Thursday reported that a few items were damaged at the 30000 block of County Road 3 in Mission Township.
No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident at 12:12 p.m. Thursday on Highway 371 and Wise Road.
SUSPICIOUS — A report Thursday of “a couple people spooking around,” in Fort Ripley.
PROWLER — Received a report of an unknown male opening a sliding door at 3:43 a.m. Thursday on the 900 block of Fifth Avenue. The male fled when confronted by the resident. Nothing was reported taken.
NOISE — Received a complaint about a loud party at 9:56 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Second Avenue.
Received a call from a female at 2:25 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of West College Drive. The caller said she was hearing voices in her apartment the night before. She was advised to call as soon as she hears the voices again, if that happens.
Received a complaint of loud music at 1:34 p.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of Eighth Avenue North. An officer spoke to the resident who was practicing with a band. They were advised to turn the music down.
Received a report at 1:19 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of Southwest Fourth Street from an individual who said they heard someone on the roof. The complaint was unfounded.
ARREST — Arrested a 46-year-old woman for a probation violation after receiving a call at 9:09 p.m. Thursday of an intoxicated female at Gillis Avenue and Washington Street.
DISTURBANCE — Received a report of kids throwing rocks and balls at a trailer at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at 39 Merri Lane. Numerous kids were talked to.
Received a report from the 700 block of South Seventh Street Thursday of harassing phone calls from an unknown female. An officer spoke to both parties and advised them to stop calling each other.
FOUND — A wallet found on Washington Street Thursday was reported and returned to its owner.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Received a report at 7:10 p.m. Thursday of two juvenile females vandalizing the playground and a picnic table at Bane Park on the 1700 block of South Seventh Street. An officer was unable to locate the juveniles.
Deborah Lingenfelter, 600 block of James Street, Thursday reported damage to a laptop computer.
THEFT — SuperAmerica, 300 block of Washington Street, Thursday reported a $20 gas drive-off by a red Kia. The subject returned on their own and paid for the gas.
FOUND — Received a report a spray painted yellow and purple Mongoose kids bike was found Thursday on the 14000 block of Baxter Drive.
SHOOTING COMPLAINT — Received a shooting complaint at 7:34 p.m. Thursday on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive of juvenile males shooting pellet and airsoft guns at plastic bottles near a residence. An officer spoke to the juveniles and parents and plastic bottles were cleaned up.
THEFT — Received a report of a theft of a shopping cart Thursday at Baxter Drive and Charles Street.
SuperOne Thursday reported theft of payroll checks at various stores.
ARREST — Arrested a 48-year-old man after a traffic strop at 5:52 a.m. Thursday on Highway 25 in Pierz. The vehicle had a false front tab and the driver was arrested for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, meaning the individual has to demonstrate they completed chemical dependency treatment and any aftercare before a license may be reinstated.
