Brainerd police

ANIMAL — Received a report Thursday of a small beagle-type dog struck by a vehicle in front of the Triangle Store at 7:16 p.m. Thursday on the 900 block of Oak Street. The dog was deceased and taken to HART. 

SUSPICIOUS — A caller reported two males with four bikes at 6:44 p.m. Thursday on Riverside Drive. An officer identified the males and sent them on their way. 

FIGHT — Received a report of kids fighting at 4:42 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Washington Street Northeast. Officers located two of the kids and talked to them. 

NOT ALLOWED — Received a report Thursday of an individual parked in a handicap spot on the 900 block of Oak Street. An officer advised the driver to move. 

Baxter police

ALARM — Investigated an alarm at 3:12 a.m. Friday at a church on the 7000 block of Highland Scenic Drive. The door was unlocked. It appeared someone tried to pry open a window. It did not appear anyone made entry and nothing was missing. 

ARREST — Arrested a 60-year-old woman for DWI at 11:20 p.m. Thursday at Highway 371 and Highland Scenic Drive. 

INFO — Received a report Thursday from the 5000 block of Laverne Circle of illegal phone tapping. 

Received a report of a gas leak at 10:05 a.m. Thursday on the 5700 block of Clearwater Road.

CRASH — No injuries were reported in a crash at 11:58 a.m. Thursday at Highway 371 and Highway 210. 

Crow Wing sheriff

ANIMAL — Gayle Kampa, 16000 block of County Highway 2, Platte Lake Township, Thursday reported neighbors dogs have been killing her chickens. 

Received a report Thursday of an individual being charged by a pit bull while walking on the 20000 block of Jackson Avenue. 

DISTURBANCE — Received a report Thursday from a woman on the 7000 block of Highway 169 in Garrison Township who reported her grandmother will not leave her residence. 

THEFT — James Stetler, 7000 block of Garden View Road, Lake Edward Township, Thursday reported theft of scrap metal.
