Police blotter- Aug. 7
THEFT — A man reported at 5:35 a.m. Friday theft from a vehicle on the 600 block of South 10th Street.
INFORMATION — A caller reported at 5:30 a.m. Friday that two people were possibly having indecent activity on the roof of a business on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. An officer checked the business and did not locate anyone.
CRASH — A crash with no injuries was reported at 5:13 p.m. Thursday on the 4100 block of South Sixth Street.
A one-vehicle crash was reported at 6 p.m. Thursday at Southeast 13th Street and Willow Street. The 23-year-old driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 7:24 a.m. Thursday on the 2500 block of Kermit Lane that someone had slashed the caller’s tires.
A woman reported at 1:31 a.m. Thursday that her vehicle’s door lock had been glued while parked at the Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center Emergency Room parking lot. Officers were waiting for surveillance footage from the ER.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 5:33 p.m. Thursday of someone trying to break into a building on Town Hall Street in Brainerd.
THEFT — A gas drive-off was reported at 10:40 a.m. Thursday at the Garrison Holiday Gas Station.
INFORMATION — A report at 6:10 a.m. Thursday of a vehicle stopping at several mailboxes in the area of Greenwood Street and County Road 123 and opening them.

CRASHES — A report at 8:25 p.m. Thursday when two dirt bikes collided in a field behind a home on the 8500 block of Azalea Road in Pillager. Alison Jacobs and Christopher Jacobs were riding their motorcycles when they struck each other. Alison suffered injuries and was transported to Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Her condition was unavailable Friday afternoon.
A motorcyclist was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 6 p.m. Thursday. The driver, who showed up at St. Gabriel’s Hospital with injuries had a warrant for no proof of insurance. He was arrested and booked in the Morrison County Jail. The man told police that he did not currently have insurance on his bike but he was going to purchase it on Monday.
FOUND — A person out jogging on Azure Road in Cushing at 9:11 a.m. Thursday found a 9mm pistol laying on the side of the road. The gun had road scratches on it and appeared like it may have fallen out of a moving vehicle.
