Woman sentenced in fatal texting crash

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — A Browerville woman has been sentenced for a fatal texting-while-driving crash.

Nineteen-year-old Kayla Carry was sentenced Monday to serve one year in Otter Tail County Jail. Carry must serve at least two months in jail and may serve the rest on electronic home monitoring.

Carry also was fined $1,000 and placed on 10 years probation.
