Police blotter- Oct. 28
SCAM — At 11:15 a.m. Wednesday a Memorywood Drive residence reported receiving a call from an unknown party claiming to be her grandson who had wrecked a rental car and needed money for the repairs. The woman knew the caller wasn’t her grandson and didn’t give the caller any information.
ARREST — Arrested a 31-year-old man on a Department of Corrections warrant at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday on the 10000 block of State Avenue.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Received a report Wednesday that mailboxes at an apartment building on the 300 block of North Aspen Street in Royalton had been pried open.
THEFTS — A theft was reported Wednesday on the 400 block of Highway 10 in Royalton.
Edwin Bullock on Wednesday reported the theft of a trailer from property on the 4000 block of 180th Street in Randall.
FIRE — At 1:26 p.m. Wednesday a 911 caller reported a beaver cut a tree down and the tree hit a power line on the 30000 block of Darby Trail near Pillager. The Pillager Fire Department and Minnesota Power were notified.

BURGLARY — Michael Smude, 10000 block of Twin Island Drive, Wednesday reported a burglary.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Debra Anderson, 10000 block of Smith Road, Wednesday reported mailboxes damaged.
