Baxter police

SUSPICIOUS — Arrested a 35-year-old woman on an outstanding warrant after receiving a report of suspicious activity at 9:46 p.m. Monday on the 6200 block of Woida Road.

ARRESTS — Arrested a 46-year-old man for third-degree DWI at 6:06 p.m. after a traffic stop at Highway 371 and Woida Road. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Arrested a 30-year-old man after a report of a domestic dispute at 6:37 a.m. Monday on the 14000 block of Forest Drive.

THEFT — James Knutson, 13000 block of Lance Drive, Monday reported two pumpkins stolen from a porch.

NOISE — Received a report at 3:40 a.m. Monday on the 5800 block of Laverne Circle of blasting music, which reportedly has been an ongoing problem. An officer advised the party to turn the music down.

Brainerd police

SHOOTING COMPLAINT — Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center reported hearing three gunshots at 3:43 a.m. Monday in the area near the hospital. Officers checked but were unable to locate anyone.

ARRESTS — Arrested two individuals after a traffic stop at 12:24 a.m. Tuesday at 13th Street Southeast and Hart Road. An 18-year-old man was arrested for child endangerment, drinking and driving, no Minnesota driver’s license and violation of conditions of release. A 19-year-old woman was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a child, probation violation. A juvenile male was cited for minor consumption of alcohol and curfew violation.

Arrested a 17-year-old male after a traffic stop at 11:50 p.m. Monday at Park and Mary streets for a Crow Wing County warrant and felony possession of a controlled substance.

Arrested a 28-year-old man about 5:21 p.m. Monday at Washington Street and Gillis Avenue for driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety, no insurance and displaying revoked license plates.

SUSPICIOUS — Received a report of a suspicious vehicle at 12:20 a.m. Tuesday on H Street and Fifth Avenue Northeast as a pickup dropped off two people and then picked them up again farther down the block.

TRICK-OR-TREAT TIME — Received a report at 10 p.m. from a resident on the 1100 block of 12th Street Southeast that several trick-or-treaters came to her door and she believed it was too late to be out. The parties were located and sent home.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Received a report at 7:51 p.m. Monday from the 600 block of North Sixth Street that someone threw a pumpkin at their house.

A report came in from Graydon Avenue Monday about a vehicle with a flat tire. It was unknown if air was deliberately let out of the tire, or if it was slashed or just went flat.

THEFTS — Received a report of a stolen credit card Monday from the 300 block of Southwest Fifth Street.

Rachel Nash, 600 block of West College Drive, Monday reported a theft from a vehicle.

A person, who fled a store on the 600 block of Norwood Street Monday after stealing window blinds, was cited for theft.

GARBAGE DUMPING — Received a report of a full-size couch dumped in the ditch Monday on the 1200 block of Evergreen Avenue.

PUBLIC ASSIST — On Oct. 26 assisted in freeing a young child who had locked themselves in the bathroom of a business on West Main Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Responded to a report of damage to property Oct. 26 on Third Street Northwest.

Received a report Thursday of graffiti written on the walls in a rental home on Third Street Northeast.

THEFT — It was reported Friday that a window was broken and items stolen from a vehicle on Fifth Street Northeast.

FIRE — At 2 a.m. Sunday officers and the Crosby Fire Department responded to a report of a portable toilet on fire on Third Avenue Southwest. The toilet was destroyed by the fire. “Reports generated and a crapper investigation underway. (Give me a break, I am running out of material),” the report concluded.

Crow Wing sheriff

HAZARD — A report at 2:35 p.m. Monday of someone putting up “No Parking” signs in the road right-of-way on Crooked Lake Road in Deerwood causing a hazard.

HARASSMENT — A report at 2:22 p.m. Monday of someone receiving harassing text messages.

THEFT — Howard Hutchins Monday reported the theft of metal tubing in Merrifield.

Jonathan Richards Monday reported the theft of a vehicle in Brainerd. Vehicle was located.

Holiday Station, 27390 State Highway 18, Garrison, Monday reported a gas drive-off of $25.02.
