Brainerd police

ASSAULT — A report from South Sixth Street at 4:53 p.m. Sunday of a neighborhood kid who assaulted the complainant’s son after a neighborhood football game.

INTOXICATED — A report at 4:53 p.m. Sunday of an intoxicated female trying to ride a bike on the 1400 block of Norwood Street.

Officers were flagged down at 3:35 p.m. Friday at the 200 block of Laurel Street of an intoxicated female who had fallen and banged her head on the sidewalk.

THEFT — Layton Albrecht, 14000 block of Wonderland Park Road, Sunday reported a theft of a vehicle battery and a bike.

Aaron Baseman, 1000 block of Kingwood Street, Saturday reported the theft of chrome bed rails off of his truck.

Spenser Larson, 400 block of South Fifth Street, Friday reported the theft of a wallet and iPod from his backpack.

Jeri Ward Friday reported a theft of cash from her purse at Snap Fitness, 1313 South Sixth Street.

Michael Snow, 600 block of Southwest Fifth Street, Friday reported that his vehicles were rummaged through and he is missing his cell phone charger and about $6 in change.

OTHER — A report at 11:43 a.m. of a maroon blazer driving by at a high rate of speed and throwing garbage at the complainant at South Seventh Street.

FIGHT — A report at 1:17 a.m. Sunday at 300 block of South Seventh Street of a fight brewing.

A report at 3:32 p.m. Friday of six to eight kids fighting on the bike path at South 10th Street and Quince Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 10:14 p.m. Saturday at the 1000 block of Chicago Avenue of a group of kids throwing rocks at a residence.

A report at 7:27 p.m. Friday at the 300 block of Second Avenue Northeast of an unknown individual throwing a rock through the complainant’s porch window.

Bonnie Muzik of Brainerd Parks and Recreation, Friday reported that planters were vandalized and all the decorative stones were removed from Gregory Park, 424 North Fourth Street.

HARASSMENT — A report at 2:12 p.m. Saturday of the complainant receiving harassing text messages.

A report at 1:36 p.m. Saturday from a caller who said her daughter received text messages from her ex-boyfriend.

A report at 11:19 a.m. Saturday of a complainant receiving a sexual explicit picture in a text message.

A report at 4 p.m. Friday at the 100 block of Third Avenue Northeast of a friend receiving a sexual explicit picture in a text message.

A report at Friday of a daughter receiving several sexual explicit text messages from two juvenile males.

DOMESTIC — A report at 6:54 a.m. Saturday of a verbal domestic outside on the walkway of an argument over a new van they bought, where the engine blew up.

TRESPASS — A report at 8:31 p.m. Friday of four juvenile males riding skateboards near the south entrance of the Franklin Arts Center, 1001 Kingwood Street.

A report at 3:21 p.m. Friday of juvenile skateboarders in the alleyway at South Eighth Street.

Juveniles were advised of the city ordinance on skateboarding.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A car versus deer accident was reported at 8:07 p.m. Sunday at Highway 371 and Novotny Road.

A hit and run was reported at 11:19 a.m. Saturday at Glory Road.

DOMESTIC — A domestic between siblings was reported at 5:28 p.m. Sunday at the 12000 block of Kingwood Drive.

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 10:29 a.m. Sunday of someone acting weird at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road.

LOST — A report at 4:53 p.m. Friday of a vehicle losing its fish house at Highway 371 and Highland Scenic Road.

FRAUD — A fraud was reported Friday.

A report of identity theft Friday.

THEFT — A report at 9:28 a.m. Friday of a theft from a vehicle on Excelsior Road.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 1:57 p.m. Monday of a male pushing a woman in Brainerd.

THEFT — John Zellner, Ironton, reported a theft at 11:14 a.m. Monday.

Marvin Zugschwert, Brainerd, reported the theft of copper at 8:22 a.m. Monday.

Wade Olson, Ironton, Saturday reported the theft of parts missing off of snowmobile.

Michael Belisle, Brainerd, Friday reported the theft of metal out of fish house.

Everett Robb, Brainerd, Friday reported a theft.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 2:31 p.m. Saturday that someone cut a 100-yard wide shooting lane on county property in Pine River.

Marshall Anderson, Deerwood, Saturday reported several mailboxes damaged.

SHOOTING — A report at 11:34 a.m. Saturday of a neighbor shooting a Deerwood resident’s pole barn.

A shooting complaint was reported at 1:55 p.m. Friday in Deerwood.

ARRESTS— A 28-year-old man was arrested on a county warrant for fourth-degree assault.

A 25-year-old man was arrested on a county warrant for second degree burglary.

FIRE — A grass fire was reported near structures in Fifty Lakes at 4:37 p.m. Friday.

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 3:43 p.m. Friday in Brainerd where an ex-girlfriend stole business checks.
