Police blotter- Nov. 9
Derek Carter reported at 10:07 a.m. Monday of someone shooting a deer from the road at Beaver Dam Road. The DNR conservation officer handled the call.
THEFT — Randon Beber reported at 1:20 p.m. that someone broke into his vehicle and stole items.
A report at 12:18 p.m. Monday of items taken from an apartment at the 1000 block of Oak Street.
Goodin Co., 902 Thiesse Dr., reported a theft of a humidifier at 8:52 a.m. Monday.
HARASS — A report at 7:08 p.m. Monday of a woman being harassed by a male on the 400 block of East River Road.
A report at 5:41 p.m. Monday of a man receiving phone calls from a pay phone and the person on the other line would not identify themselves.
A report at 3:48 p.m. Monday of a driver who gave a woman the finger because her car broke down.
ASSAULT — Mid Minnesota Women’s Center in Brainerd reported a possible assault of a female on the street at 5:19 a.m. Monday.
FRAUD — It was reported at 2:42 p.m. Thursday that in the last couple of months that counterfeit money has been circulating through the Browerville and Staples area. Vendors and businesses taking US currency in exchange for goods or services are encouraged to double check the authenticity presented to them.
ACCIDENT — A rollover accident was reported at 6:50 p.m. Saturday on Highway 10 near Motley. The vehicle was driven by Victoria Ternet, age and address unknown, who was transported to Lakewood Health Systems in Staples to be treated for her injuries. No information on her condition was available Tuesday. The Motley Police Department, Motley Fire and Rescue and Staples Ambulance assisted at the scene.

THEFT — A theft was reported at 3:10 p.m. Monday at the 300 block of 11th Street.
ARREST — A 25-year-old was arrested after officers responded to a disturbance at 11:50 p.m. Sunday at the 700 block of Second Street Southeast.
A 38-year-old was arrested at 9:47 a.m. Sunday at Coborn’s Superstore, 1101 Second Ave. N.E., for attempting to take several items from the store.
ASSAULT — An assault was reported at 5:41 p.m. Sunday at First Street Southeast.
ANIMAL — Officers assisted the State Patrol at 2:57 p.m. Sunday with a three-vehicle accident. The accident was apparently caused by a subject stopping to get a dog that was running on the roadway.

THEFTS — John Zellner, 10000 block of Rowe Road, Monday reported a theft.
Marvin Zugschwert, 10000 block of County Road 22, Monday reported theft of copper.
EXTRA PATROL — Extra patrol was requested for the four-way stop in Riverton, at County Road 59 and First Street, because people are reportedly not stopping for the signs about 3 p.m. each day.
INTOXICATED — An intoxicated male was reported on the 9000 block of Highway 169 in Garrison about 12:16 a.m. Monday. The person was gone when deputies arrived.
THREAT — A report at 4:50 p.m. Monday of a man being threatened by people boarding their horses on County Road 45.
