At least one killed, more than 100 injured in New Jersey train crash

Baxter police

ARRESTS — A 31-year-old man was arrested at 12:27 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop at Industrial Park Road on a county warrant.

A juvenile female was arrested for domestic assault at 5:49 p.m. Friday on Kingwood Drive.

A 21-year-old man was arrested at 5:43 p.m. Friday for various charges on Lynwood Drive after a disturbance call.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Deer versus vehicle accidents were reported at 9:23 a.m. Sunday on College Road and Conifer Drive; at 10:05 p.m. Friday on Highway 210 and Knollwood Drive; and a report of a driver hitting an injured deer at 7:17 p.m. Friday on the 5900 block of Fairview Road.

ANIMAL — A report at 8:50 a.m. Sunday on Franklin Drive of a dog running loose and “doing its business” in her yard.

SHOOTING — A report at 9:40 p.m. Friday of a shooting complaint in the area of Knollwood Drive.

THEFT — Jessica Crawford Sunday reported the theft of a cellphone at the 600 block of Oak Street.

Laura Morrison, 700 block of South Eighth Street, Sunday reported the theft of her coat.

Laura Englund, 1900 block of South Seventh, Sunday reported the theft of jewelry.

Eric Waller, 900 block of Seventh Avenue Northeast, Saturday reported a theft of $5.

Joseph Rubado, 1300 block of Park Street, Saturday reported the theft of numerous items from two unlocked vehicles.

Abraham Kretzman, 900 block 28th Street Southeast, Saturday reported a theft.

Bernard Baratto, 1100 block of 28th Street Southeast, Saturday reported a theft of a vehicle. Officers located vehicle.

A report at 7:43 p.m. Friday of the complainant’s vehicle being stolen and that she was threatened.

Kristopher Johnson, 700 block Fifth Street South, Friday reported the theft of his wallet.

Jason Jones, 1300 block Maple Street, Friday reported the theft of a three-wheeler bike.

BURGLARY — A report at 12:48 p.m. Sunday of a burglary at the 1200 block of 14th Street Northeast.

A report at 5:22 a.m. Thursday of a burglary at the 700 block of Thiesse Drive.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 4:17 a.m. Sunday of a subject throwing a pumpkin through his window at the 1100 block of Southeast 11th Street.

Triangle store, 901 Oak St., reported Friday that a female driver ran over a vacuum with a large moving truck.

A report at 9:08 a.m. 10th at SAVE Foods, 701 Industrial Park Rd., of unknown persons damaging the garage door.

INTOXICATED — A report at 2:37 p.m. Saturday of a subject intoxicated and riding his bicycle in traffic causing a hazard.

ASSAULT — An assault was reported at 2:42 a.m. Sunday at the 1100 block of Southeast 19th Street. The male was being treated for a stab wound to his left arm at Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center.

ARRESTS — A 22-year-old man was arrested following a disturbance at 1:11 a.m. Sunday at Liquor Pigz Bar, 718 Laurel St.

Five men were arrested after a fight was reported at 7:43 p.m. Saturday at the 1000 block Southeast 19th Street. Arrested were a 52-year-old for felony Domestic Abuse No Contact Order violation, furnishing alcohol to a minor and violating the social host ordinance; a 23-year-old for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct; a 28-year-old for furnishing alcohol to a minor, obstructing the legal process and violating the social host ordinance; a 24-year-old for obstructing the legal process; and a 20-year-old for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct. A 16-year-old male was cited for underage consumption.

A 16-year-old male was arrested for second degree assault with a weapon at 11:46 a.m. Thursday on Merri Lane.

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 8:34 a.m. Sunday at the 500 block of Third Street Northeast.

ARREST — A 49-year-old was arrested after a report of disorderly conduct at 2:11 a.m. Sunday at the West Side Bar, 115 Broadway W.

A 30-year-old was arrested after a report of a domestic at 2:03 a.m. Sunday on Sixth Avenue Northeast.

A 30-year-old was arrested at 9:09 p.m. Thursday after a report of a fight at the Falls Mobile trailer park, 801 Eighth St. N.W.

FIRE — A grass fire was reported at 3:59 p.m. Saturday that involved two juvenile males at the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast.

THEFT — Ricky Wallace of Royalton Sunday reported a theft of his trailer that he got from General Rental in Little Falls.

Gerald Johnson, Motley, reported Saturday that three 100 pound propane cylinders were stolen from his cabin.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A vehicle versus deer accidents were reported at 5:08 p.m. Sunday in Pierz; at 10:09 a.m. Sunday;

A report at 9:55 a.m. Sunday of two three wheelers tearing up private land in Green Prairie Township.

ANIMAL — A report at 2:12 p.m. Saturday of two horses were loose in Randall.

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 10:57 p.m. Friday that someone keeps putting a cement block under her bedroom window in Brainerd.

ARRESTS — A 58-year-old man was arrested after a call of an assault at 2:16 a.m. Saturday.

THEFT — Darcy Watson, County Road 5, reported Saturday the theft of a cellphone.

Robert Voss, Brainerd, reported Saturday the theft of a garbage can.

Toni Turk, Garrison, Saturday reported the theft of $20.

Cheryl Redding, Emily, Saturday reported the theft of a gun sling.

BURGLARY — Colleen Little reported a burglary at 12:52 p.m. Saturday in Deerwood.

A report at 7:18 a.m. Saturday of a burglary in Trommald.

A report at 3:33 a.m. Saturday of a burglary in Brainerd.

FIRE — Denise Deboer, Deerwood, Saturday reported a possible grass fire.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Jon Chmielecki, Emily, Saturday reported mailbox damage.

A vehicle versus deer accidents were reported at 5:40 p.m. Saturday on County Highway 3 in Merrifield; at 5:18 p.m. Saturday on County Road 3; Sorenson Lake Road; and at 9:08 p.m. Friday in Garrison; and at 7:24 p.m. Friday at County Road 132 and Meadowview Road in Brainerd.
