Baxter Police

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY — A man reported at 5:27 p.m. Thursday that a person in a van came up to him attempting to sell a $2,000 stereo system for $100. Officers couldn’t locate the van.

Brainerd Police

CRASH — An 18-year-old driver was injured after the vehicle she was driving hit a tree on Evergreen Avenue in Brainerd. The driver, Holly Erickson, was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Her two passengers were not reported injured. The crash occurred at 8:47 a.m. Thursday.

Crow Wing Sheriff

FIRE — A resident on the 15200 block of McKay Road, Brainerd, reported at 9:06 p.m. Thursday smoke somewhere in the basement. Brainerd Fire and North Ambulance were paged.

THEFT — The theft of erosion blankets was reported at 2:52 p.m. Thursday on the 9400 block of Dorothy Avenue, Brainerd.

A person reported at 10:06 a.m. Thursday the theft of a 500-gallon propane tank on County Road 23, Brainerd.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A woman reported at 1:22 p.m. Thursday that sheds were broken into on the 18500 block of Landing Road in Ironton.
