Police blotter- Nov. 23

Crosby police

SUSPICIOUS — An officer Saturday responded to a report on Erie Avenue of a suspicious male standing between two garages with a bicycle. Officer followed the bicycle tracks to a residence and made contact with a male. The male admitted he was trying to fix a bicycle chain with a “twisty-tie” behind a garage. The officer advised the male to stay off private property and advised him that a “twisty-tie” on a bike chain was probably not the best idea in the world.

A report Saturday of two young boys walking through yards with a BB gun on sixth Street and Eighth Avenue in Ironton.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Report Friday of vandalism to a vehicle parked on Superior Avenue and another vandalism of graffiti on a garage on Michigan Avenue.

THEFT — A report Thursday of a theft of a bike on First Avenue Northeast.

A report Nov. 16 of a theft of a cellphone from a building on West Main Street.

A report Nov. 14 of a theft off of County Road 18.

A report Nov. 14 of a theft that occurred at a business on Fourth Street in Ironton.

Brainerd police

THEFT — Brainerd High School, 702 Fifth St., reported three thefts Monday of money, a phone memory card and an iPod Touch.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 3 a.m. Tuesday of a male knocking on doors, asking for a ride home at Mill Avenue and H Street. Officer gave subject ride home.

Baxter police

THEFT — Walmart, 7352 Glory Rd., Monday reported the theft of an iPod from the store.

Brainerd General Rental, 15248 Hwy. 371, Monday reported a theft.

Crow Wing sheriff

ARREST — A 41-year-old man was arrested for fifth-degree domestic assault and third-degree driving under the influence after a report of a domestic at 11:04 p.m. Monday in the Emily/Crosby area.

SHOOTING — A report at 5:09 p.m. Monday of complainant possibly hearing shots on her property in Pine River.
