Brainerd police

PROWLER — A report at 3:55 a.m. Wednesday that a prowler was at her back door trying to break in at the 700 block of Seventh Avenue Northeast.

ARREST —A 28-year-old woman was arrested at 1:42 a.m. Wednesday for giving a false name to police officers after a report of a disturbance at Fourth Avenue Northeast and C Street.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 6:29 p.m. Tuesday that there was something wrong at her son’s residence at the 1300 block of Norwood Street.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Ethelyn Gadway reported at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday that someone broke into her vehicle at the 14000 block of Baxter Drive.

Thomas Grosz Tuesday reported the side mirror of his car was damaged at the 300 block of North Ninth Street.

THEFT — Two reports of juveniles at Brainerd High School, 702 South Fifth St., reporting thefts on Tuesday.

Clare Groover, 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street, Tuesday reported the theft of money.

Crow Wing sheriff

ARRESTS — An 18-year-old man was arrested at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday on a county warrant.

A 25-year-old subject was arrested at 3:23 p.m. Tuesday on a county warrant for felony financial transaction card fraud.

A 27-year-old woman was arrested at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday on a probation violation.

ANIMAL — A report at 4:17 p.m. Tuesday of horses with no hay or shelter in Deerwood.

BURGLARY — A report at 2:18 p.m. Tuesday that a storage unit padlock was cut and items were moved around in unit on Glacier Road in Brainerd.

THEFT — A report at 1:38 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of a handgun.

Russell Dombovy Tuesday reported that a diesel tank was broken into on Meadowview Road in Brainerd.

Baxter police

WELFARE — A report at 6:20 p.m. Friday of a 16-year-old foster child acting up at the 10000 block of Kingwood Drive. Child taken to Girls’ PORT.

ARRESTS — A 35-year-old woman was arrested at 11:23 a.m. Tuesday for Driving Under Influence after a report that a vehicle that ran off the road and hit a tree at Excelsior Road and Baxter Drive.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Sunday for violation of conditions of release.

A 26-year-old male was arrested at 11:06 p.m. Friday for Driving While Intoxicated after a driving complaint in the drive through at Taco Bell, 14175 Edgewood Drive.

BURGLARY— Matthew Ellis Monday reported that his fish house was broken into on Whipple Lake.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 12:19 a.m. Tuesday of a disturbance between a landlord and tenant at the 11000 block of Joneswood Circle.

FRAUD — A report at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday of someone attempting to withdraw money from her bank account.

Crosby police

ARRESTS — A 30-year-old Ironton man was arrested Friday for fleeing in a motor vehicle and second-degree DWI. It was reported that the State Patrol was in pursuit of the vehicle on County Road 59 and it had stopped on Bluegill Road.

A 44-year-old Brainerd man was arrested at 12:15 a.m. Friday for third-degree DWI on Fourth Street in Ironton.

A 24-year-old Crosby man was arrested Jan. 10 on Second Street Southwest for a probation violation, disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process with force.

DISTURBANCE — A report of a disturbance involving kids in the area Saturday on Sixth Street in Ironton.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report Jan. 11 of damage done to a mailbox on First Street Southeast.

Staples police

FIGHTS — Two women were cited at 1:25 a.m. Sunday for disorderly conduct after fighting in the parking lot of First International Bank, 111 Fourth St. N.E.

ARRESTS — A 23-year-old man was arrested at 3:05 a.m. Saturday for probation violation at Fourth Street and Third Avenue Northeast after a report of two suspicious subjects walking out of the alley.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 10:41 p.m. Friday for interfering with a 911 call after a report of a civil matter.

A 24-year-old man was arrested at 10:11 p.m. Thursday at the 100 block of Fourth Street Northeast for a DWI, pending a blood test, after a traffic stop.

THEFT — Elliot Sanderg Saturday reported that her purse was stolen while at the Twisted Sisters Bar, 119 Third St. N.E.

Ronald Smith, Browerville, Jan. 10 reported a theft of a FFA sign with his sons’ names on it that was up along Highway 10, just east of Staples.

Little Falls police

THEFT — General Rental employees Tuesday reported a possible theft of services.

A theft was reported at 3:12 p.m. Monday at the 15000 block of 18th Street Northeast.

A theft of a check book was reported at 7:04 p.m. Saturday at the 100 block of Kidder Street.

A report at 12:45 p.m. Saturday that a friend was staying with her at the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast and the friend left with her iPod and was going to trade it for drugs in Onamia.

A report at 8:53 p.m. Thursday of a stolen vehicle and a laptop computer at the 100 block of Third Street Southwest.

A report of a theft at 5:34 p.m. Thursday at the 1700 block of First Avenue Northeast.

A report of a theft at 9:54 a.m. Thursday at the 17000 block of Haven Road.

ARREST — A 20-year-old was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday at the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast after a report of a disturbance.

A 22-year-old was arrested at 5:31 p.m. Monday after a report of a theft at the 1100 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

A 25-year-old subject was arrested at 2:43 p.m. Monday after a traffic stop at the 15000 block of Hawthorne Road.
