DOUGHNUTS — A report Friday that two vehicles were whipping doughnuts, “and not the kind the police like”, on Serpent Lake just off the boat landing. Officer made contact with two vehicles and lots of occupants, they were advised.
DISTURBANCE — A report Jan. 16 to a residence on Third Avenue Northeast of a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with the two individuals involved, received information that they were having a disagreement over who was going to cook the chicken.
THEFT — A report Sunday of a theft of a propane tank taken from a residence on Howard Avenue.
A report at 1 a.m. Jan. 18 in the area of 11th Avenue Southwest and Third Street of the theft of taxi services. A female ran from the cab without paying.
DOMESTIC — A report Saturday of a domestic disturbance in Ironton. While en route, the male fled and officers were unable to locate him. Possible fifth-degree criminal domestic assault charges against the known suspect were forwarded to the Crow Wing County Attorney’s office.
ARRESTS — A 31-year-old Maplewood man was arrested Saturday after a traffic stop on Cross Avenue and First Street Northwest on driving after cancellation-inimical to public safety.
A 26-year-old Ironton man was arrested Jan. 16 on a county warrant.
SCAM — Assisted a business Thursday on East Main Street that had received multiple telephone calls from an individual from another state that was involved in a scam situation. Officer made contact with the scammer and advised them to stop the calls.
A report Jan. 17 of a financial fraud of a business, southwest of town.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report Thursday that a vehicle accidently backed into the garage door at a residence on Third Street Southwest.
A report Jan. 18 of a fire hydrant that was struck and damaged on Second Avenue Northwest and West Main Street.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 11:19 a.m. Monday of a driver stating she was turning north on Highway 371 from Highway 210 and the vehicle struck a sign, knocking it down.
A report at 7:56 a.m. Friday of a vehicle hitting SuperAmerica, 14963 Edgewood Dr. The driver fled the scene.
ARRESTS — A 42-year-old man was arrested at 3:29 a.m. Tuesday at the 7200 block of Fairview Road after a report of an assault.
A 50-year-old woman was arrested at 12:43 a.m. Tuesday for driving while intoxicated at the 7800 block of Highland Scenic Road.
Two 20-year-old men were arrested at 11:35 p.m. Monday after a report of a burglary in progress at Jims Electric Company, 8296 Industrial Park Rd.
An 18-year-old man was arrested at 1:39 a.m. Monday at College Road and Douglas Fir Drive for possession of small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia possession.
A 30-year-old man was arrested at 11:09 a.m. Sunday at the 14000 block of Baxter Drive on a warrant.
ANIMAL COMPLAINT — A report at 8:40 p.m. Saturday of animals being left in a vehicle on the 14000 block of Edgewood Drive. Officer made contact with owner who said he checks on dogs twice an hour and dogs appeared to be in good condition and not affected by the cold.
DRUGS — A report at 4 p.m. Monday of a small amount of marijuana found outside a residence on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive.
SuperOne Foods, 7895 Excelsior Road, Saturday reported a packet of drugs found.
THEFT — A juvenile made a report at 10:02 p.m. Sunday of a theft of a wallet from a locker in the men’s public locker room at The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, 6967 Lake Forest Road.
A juvenile at Forestview Middle School, 12149 Knollwood Dr., Friday reported a theft of an iPod.
FRAUD — A report at 1:03 p.m. Sunday of someone using his debit card at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road.
BURGLARY — A report at 11:17 a.m. Sunday of a burglary in progress on the 23000 block of Clearwater Point Road. The suspect fled into the woods.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 5:37 p.m. Friday of a disturbance in the parking lot at Walmart, 7295 Glory Road.
ARRESTS — A 49-year-old man was arrested at 5:08 a.m. Tuesday for disorderly conduct after a report by Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center, 523 N. Third St., that there was a disturbance in the emergency room.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested at 9:42 p.m. Monday on the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street on a county warrant for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested at 3:01 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Northeast Washington Street. The man was arrested on a felony warrant for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, obstructing the legal process and possession of drug paraphernalia. The woman was arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.
BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 11:41 a.m. Monday on the 1300 block of Pine Street.
ASSAULT — Brainerd High School, 702 Fifth St., reported an assault at 10:58 a.m. Monday.
INDECENT CONDUCT — A report at 10:39 a.m. Monday at the 14000 block of Baxter Drive of indecent conduct.

THEFT — Steven Asch, 17000 block of Crow Wing County Road 3, Monday reported the theft of a Walkman radio.
Paul Allen, Manhattan Beach, Monday reported a theft.
Robert Maske, Loerch Road, Brainerd, Monday reported a theft.
Richard Benham, Highway 18, Brainerd, Monday reported that his mail may have been stolen.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Tanya Pierson, Emily, Monday reported damage to a mailbox.
Edwin Durm Monday reported a fish house was broken into at the Merrifield Bay on North Long Lake.
BURGLARY — Robert Hanson, Garrison, reported a burglary at 11:27 a.m. Monday.
ARRESTS — A 42-year-old man was arrested at 11:17 a.m. Monday on a county warrant for fourth-degree damage to property.
FRAUD — A report at 8:41 a.m. Monday that someone opened a credit card under the complainant’s name.
Little Falls police
ARRESTS — A 29-year-old was arrested at 6:06 p.m. Friday at Fourth Street Southeast and First Avenue Southeast after a report where a small child was unattended, possibly locked out of his home. Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 7-year-old boy inside the residence. He explained he had just walked home from the Boys and Girls Club a block away and when he arrived at his house his mother wasn’t there. He did not know her whereabouts or phone numbers to call. Officer advised the boy that he was too young to be left alone and took him to the police department to try and locate a relative.
A 29-year-old was arrested at 2:33 Jan. 18 at the 300 block of 11th Street Southeast on a county warrant.
A 20-year-old was arrested at 2:50 a.m. Jan. 17 on a warrant after a call of a disturbance on the 900 block of Sixth Avenue Northeast.
ASSIST — Officers responded at 7:19 a.m. Thursday to St. Gabriel’s Hospital to assist with an unruly patient. Upon arrival, the subject was arguing with emergency room staff but complied with orders to go into the secure room. After the subject was in the secure room he was brought breakfast by staff. Shortly after receiving his breakfast he became agitated and threw the tray against the wall breaking the dishes and was yelling at officers. Officers entered the room to restrain him and he refused to comply with orders to get on the floor. He was then Tazed and police were able to gain control of him.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday that someone drove onto church property at 14827 Prairie Dr. and tore up the grass/lawn area.
A report at 12:07 p.m. Thursday that someone cut the complainant’s power steering line on his vehicle that was parked behind Business Machine Plus.
SHOOTING — A report at 8:30 a.m. Sunday that complainant was walking by the 100 block of Broadway East and heard what sounded like a gun shot and she could smell gun powder.
THEFT — A report at 6:24 a.m. Sunday of a theft of a vehicle at the 400 block of Second Street Northeast. It was reported that the subject started the vehicle to warm it up and when she went back outside it was gone.
