Crow Wing sheriff

WATER — David Hilbrich Tuesday reported that a vehicle broke through the ice at 1:11 p.m. at Gooseberry Island and North Eastern Tip. Hilbrich called back at 5 p.m. to report that the vehicle is all the way through the ice. He had made contact with Turner Towing to get the vehicle out.

FIRE — A report at 2:51 a.m. Tuesday of a hay bale on fire at 170th Avenue and 273rd Street in Pierz.
