SHOOTING COMPLAINT — A report at 8:54 p.m. Sunday of the windows being shot at on the 500 block of League Avenue. Several officers responded to the scene and determined the complaint was unfounded.


A report at 9:31 p.m. Friday of hearing two gun shots somewhere in the area behind a trailer on the 600 block of James Street.

PROWLER — A report at 10:59 p.m. Saturday of 10-12 teens running through a backyard on the 1100 block of Ninth Avenue and 1100 block of 11th Avenue.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 9:34 a.m. Sunday of a damaged street sign pole at Bluff and Terrace avenues. Officers located a license plate in the snow and were able to cite a man for a hit and run.

Gregg Gribbin reported Saturday that someone keyed his vehicle while it parked on the 700 block of Laurel Street.

THEFT — Nicole Glass, 200 block of Southwest Fifth Street, Sunday reported the possible theft of a silk tree. The tree was returned.

Jana Maust-Minske, 400 block of South Ninth Street, Friday reported the theft of her son’s bicycle parts.

INTOXICATED — A report at 4:13 p.m. Friday of a male drinking vodka while driving on the 400 block of Northwest Washington Street.

A report at 10:46 a.m. Friday of a subject sleeping on the stairs on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. Officer made contact and subject was not intoxicated.

ARRESTS — A 28-year-old man was arrested at 6:31 p.m. Sunday for third-degree driving while intoxicated, driving after suspension and a hit and run damage crash on 13th Street Southeast and Pine Street.

A 26-year-old man was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Saturday on a county warrant after a report of a fight on the 400 block of C Street.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested at 4:16 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct after a report of an intoxicated female stumbling on the 200 block of South Eighth Street.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at 12:34 p.m. Saturday for disorderly conduct and underage consumption of alcohol after a report of a fight on the 400 block of Second Avenue Northeast.

A 19-year-old man was arrested at 3:59 a.m. Saturday for fourth-degree DWI and under age 21 drinking and driving after a suspicious driving complaint on the 1200 block of Maple Street. Another man was cited for underage consumption.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at 11:12 a.m. Friday for gross misdemeanor probation violation and a 23-year-old man was arrested for a misdemeanor county warrant for driving after revocation after a report of a disturbance on the 1100 block of Oak Street.

ASSAULT — Crosslake Police Department Sunday reported that the a woman was assaulted in Brainerd. Report was unfounded.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 11:04 p.m. Sunday of complainant hitting three deer on County Road 121 in Fort Ripley.

Edward Zirngible, 9000 County Road 23, Sunday reported that someone ran into his fish house sometime last week.

A report Saturday of a subject leaving a house in Merrifield and driving through people’s yards.

INTOXICATED — SuperAmerica, 9327 U.S. Highway 169, Garrison, Sunday reported an intoxicated female trying to get into other people’s vehicles.

THREATS — A report from a woman at 9:27 p.m. Saturday in rural Brainerd that her roommate stated she would kill her dog.

BREAK-IN — A report at 4:15 p.m. Saturday of an attempted break-in to a fish house in Merrifield.

ARRESTS — A 25-year-old woman was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Sunday on DWI after a report of a vehicle in the ditch at Cook Road and County Road 45.

A 50-year-old man was arrested at 10:25 p.m. Sunday after a traffic stop at Laurel Street and East River Road.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at 9:23 p.m. Friday on a county warrant.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at 7:37 p.m. Friday on a county warrant for felony drugs in Beadle County, South Dakota.

A 30-year-old man was arrested at 3:55 p.m. Friday on a county warrant in Detroit Lakes.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — A report at 1:25 a.m. Saturday of a disturbance in front of Twisted Sisters Bar, 119 Third St. N.E., involving several people.

THEFT — Dustin Greenwaldt Saturday reported the theft of a vehicle from the Giovanni’s parking lot, 304 Second Ave. N.E.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report at 8:12 p.m. Thursday of damage to property at the North Fourth Laundry Mat. Two high school students came in and washed overalls that were full of mud and grease causing four washers and driers to be caked with mud and grease. The students came over during their lunch hour to clean the machines.

Becky Roelofs on Wednesday reported that someone broke a window at Lindsay Tibbetts Accounting, 314 Second Ave. N.E., that appeared to have been struck by a fist.

ARRESTS — A 45-year-old man was arrested at 8:12 p.m. Sunday in Motley for domestic assault.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at 8:12 p.m. Jan. 31 on the 1200 block of Eighth Street Northeast for violating an order for protection.

INDECENT EXPOSURE — A report at 8:12 p.m. Jan. 30 on the 200 block of Sixth Street Northeast of a complaint from Next Step concerning indecent exposure.
