ANIMAL — A report Feb. 15 of a stray cat that was in the area of Mattson Avenue in Ironton two times. The first time, the cat was gone. The second time officer was unable to apprehend, because the handcuffs were too big. Caller and a neighbor were advised to call back if the cat returns.
ASSIST — Assisted Deerwood Police Sunday at Highways 6 and 210 with an arrest involving an individual who fled from the officer.
LITTERING — A report Friday of people continually littering cigarette butts on Third Avenue Southwest. Homeowner will call next time when he sees suspects in the area and officers will be monitoring.
BURGLARY — A report Friday of a possible burglary of a shed on Second Street Northwest. Officer received details and noted that the owner of the items taken from the shed is actually the possible suspect who took the items. Officers are investigating.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report Friday of a fence damaged in Ironton.
A report Thursday of a vehicle striking a fire hydrant on West Main Street.
ARREST — A juvenile male was arrested Feb. 15 for fifth-degree domestic assault after a report of a domestic disturbance on Third Avenue Northwest. The male left the area, but was located a few hours later.
THEFT — A report Feb. 13 of a theft of a bicycle that occurred in the area of Third Avenue Southwest.
SUSPICIOUS — A report at 8:39 p.m. Saturday of males going door to door offering to do house services for free on the 700 block of Holton Avenue.
A report at 3:43 a.m. Sunday of three males attempting to get into apartments on the 200 block of South Seventh Street.
ARRESTS — A 53-year-old man was arrested at 10:53 a.m. Monday on warrants from three counties. The arrest was after a report that an intoxicated man walked into Harrison Elementary School, 1515 Oak St. Officers arrested the man walking nearby the school.
A 33-year-old man was arrested at 8:30 p.m. Saturday for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct after a report of a possible disturbance in an upstairs apartment on the 1700 block of Oak Street.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at 6:08 p.m. Saturday for third-degree driving while intoxicated, second-degree refusal and open bottle after an off-duty officer reported a very intoxicated subject at the hockey arena, 502 Jackson St.
A 38-year-old man was arrested at 8:03 p.m. Friday on a Department of Corrections warrant, a driver’s license violation and open bottle after a traffic stop on South Sixth Street and Washington Street.
A 53-year-old year old woman was arrested at 7:25 p.m. Friday on an outstanding warrant on the 900 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 9:54 p.m. Monday of a disturbance that occurred in front of the Liquor Pigz, 718 Laurel St.
A report at 1:40 a.m. Saturday of an unknown male beating on the windows and doors at a residence on the 800 block of Mill avenue.
ALCOHOL — A report at 7:44 p.m. Monday that a subject provided and consumed alcohol with numerous juveniles.
A report at 1:42 a.m. Sunday of an intoxicated man in the hallway on the 200 block of South Seventh Street. Man was taken to St. Cloud detox.
A report at 1:32 a.m. Sunday of an intoxicated female lying on the ground on Northwest Fourth Street and Washington Street. Woman was taken to St. Cloud detox.
THEFT — Batteries Plus, 923 Washington St., Monday reported a theft.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — Tiffany Taugas, 700 block of Fourth Avenue, Monday reported a window in her apartment was broken.
Dominique Salvog, 600 block of Southeast 13th Street, Sunday reported that someone egged her apartment building and car.
SHOOTING — A report at 2:41 p.m. Monday of complainant possibly hearing rifle shots in the area of the 1300 block of South Eighth Street.
A report at 6:41 p.m. Sunday of the complainant hearing three gunshots in the area of the 600 block of Cora Street.
THEFT — Garrett Cekalla, 900 block of 10th Avenue Northeast, Sunday reported the theft of his new ice auger from his garage.
Anna Choudhary, 11000 block of Andrew Street, Sunday reported the theft from the cash register drawer.
FIGHT — A report at 1:30 a.m. Sunday of a large group of people standing in front of Liquor Pigz, 718 Laurel St., starting fights. Officers located a small group and they were sent on their way.
