Man to appear in court in armed robbery case

WADENA — The 24-year-old man, charged for a first-degree aggravated robbery that took place Jan. 25 at the Staples Self Serve Station, will appear at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Wadena County District Court.

Joshua James McKenna, who has no permanent address, was arrested Feb. 10 in Grafton, N.D.

McKenna allegedly entered Staples Self Serve brandishing a handgun and demanding money. He did not discharge the handgun and no one was hurt. McKenna alledgedly took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing from the store.
