Baxter police

ARREST — Arrested a 42-year-old man for a probation violation from Beltrami County after a traffic stop at 1:43 a.m. Thursday at highways 371/210. The driver was also cited for driving after revocation and for failure to provide proof of insurance.

ANIMAL — A woman reported Wednesday that someone possibly attempted to stab her dog with a spear. An officer located the subject who was playing in the woods and was throwing a spear at trees. The officer spoke to the subject and his parents about the complaint.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Damage reported Wednesday on the 6300 block of Dahlin Road from eggs and plastic wrapped along the garage.

Crow Wing sheriff

SUSPICIOUS — A man on the 9000 block of Ravenswood Road reported at someone rang his doorbell about 10 p.m. and then he heard voices in the backyard.

ASSAULT — An assault was reported at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday on the 16600 block of County Road 11, Crosby. A 50-year-old woman was arrested and is in the jail on a second degree assault with a dangerous weapon charge.

FIRE — Received a report of a large fire Wednesday on the 4200 block of Sleepy Hollow Road, Fort Ripley. The homeowner was outside with the fire and fine.

CRASH — A crash with injuries was reported at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Business 371 and Andrew Street.

THEFT — Advanced Diesel Service, 12100 block of Highway 210, Wednesday reported the theft of engine parts.

SHOOTING COMPLAINT — A man reported hearing two shots at 1:31 a.m. Thursday just south of his residence on the 1300 block of Eighth Street.
