Staples police

JUVENILE — A report at 8:11 p.m. Sunday on the 800 block of Third Street Southwest that a Staples resident asked an officer to speak with her 5-year-old daughter about riding bike across the street. The complainant stated that her daughter does not listen to her when she tells her she cannot ride bike across the street. Officer spoke to the daughter and explained bike safety to her.
