Brainerd police

ARREST — Jonathn Carlton Erickson, 21, was arrested at 7:11 p.m. Monday on the 700 block of South Eighth Street for second-degree burglary.

Crosby police

ARREST — Mark B. Peterson, 53, Brainerd, was arrested June 7 on West Main Street Officers for burglary, obstructing legal process with force, damage to property and disorderly conduct.

FIRE — A report June 8 of a barbecue grill propane tank leaking and on fire near a residence on Third Street Northeast. Officer responded and assisted Crosby Fire Department. No damage and no injuries.

Staples police

FIRE — A report at 10:15 p.m. June 9 of a house fire at 212 Cleveland St. S.W. The tenant had been burning wood and leaves in a fire ring close to the house. The fire started on the deck next to the fire ring. No one was injured and there was moderate damage to the house.

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 8:05 p.m. June 6 on the 500 block of Fourth Street Southeast for a possible intruder in the basement of the residence. Police arrived and learned a daughter was located in the basement and the mother did not know she was down there.
