Cass Lake man found guilty of sex crimes

Richard Leslie Larsen, 50, of Cass Lake, was found guilty of three counts of criminal sexual conduct in the second degree following a three-day jury trial in Walker earlier this week. The charges arise from a May, 2011, complaint alleging sexual contact with a person under 13 years of age. Larsen was acquitted of one count of criminal sexual conduct in the first degree.

Judge John P. Smith remanded Larsen into custody pending sentencing, which is scheduled for September 17, 2012.
