LITTLE FALLS — The 32-year-old Royalton man, who had a gun and drove up to 80 mph leading law enforcement officers on a chase who was charged with felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, appeared in court last week in Morrison District Court.

Judge Conrad Freeberg set a Rule 8 court hearing for 10 a.m. Oct. 8 for Joshua Jay Zoccoli

According to court documents, once apprehended Zoccoli admitted that he saw the squad’s red lights and knew that law enforcement officers were chasing him. Zoccoli also admitted that he had a Rossi 20 Gauge Combo “with a .22-caliber barrel as well.”
