Baxter police

ARRESTS — Thomas J. Rudkin, 51, and James M. Terhark, 41, were arrested at 1:50 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Highway 371 and Wise Road after a short vehicle pursuit where the suspects fled on foot. They were located and transported to hospital and then to jail. Rudkin was booked for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle and of other means, driving after cancellation, obstructing the legal process/interfere and two petty misdemeanors. Terhark was booked for fifth-degree possession of meth, possession of burglary or theft of tools, fleeing a peace officer by a means other than and obstructing the legal process/interfere.

FIRE — A report at 7:57 p.m. Saturday that parents are intoxicated and refusing to extinguish their campfire on the 11000 block of Forestview Drive.

Brainerd police

ARRESTS — Dylan Benjamin, 20, was arrested at 3:56 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast for felony possession of stolen property.

Clarence M. Olson, 35, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. Sunday on Front Street and South Sixth Street for fifth-degree possession of drugs, fourth-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI), possession of 1.4 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Natalie J. Ledoux, 50, was arrested at 10:13 p.m. Saturday on Highway 25 and Eighth Avenue Northeast for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance, DWI-drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jermaine L. Fisher was arrested at 6:48 p.m. Friday on the 200 block of South Eighth Street for fourth-degree assault and obstructing the legal process.

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 1:59 p.m. Saturday of juveniles on the roof of Thrifty White Drug, 223 S. Eighth St., and jumping off. Officers unable to locate.

A report at 7:20 p.m. Friday of people in the middle of the road at South Sixth Street and Laurel Street with shopping carts. An officer was at the intersection at the time of the call and didn’t see the subjects.
