CROSBY — The Crosby Police Department is investigating a death of a 48-year-old Crosby woman, reported Crosby Police Chief Kim Coughlin.

Coughlin reported that at 9:30 p.m. Sunday, officers responded to a report of an unresponsive female at a residence on First Street Southwest in Crosby. Officers and ambulance responded, administered medical care, but the female, identified as Linda Marie Sabahot, was declared deceased at the scene. Sabahot was transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiners office for an autopsy, and officers are waiting on autopsy results.

Coughlin said it is unknown at this time as to the cause and manner of death. Officers are continuing to investigate.

Assisting Crosby Police at the scene were the Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
