SUSPICIOUS — A report at 5:55 p.m. Friday of a male walking down the road with an ax on Fawn Lake Lane and Antler Road in Merrifield.

INFORMATION — A report at 10:50 p.m. Friday of a pellet gun accident in the emergency room at Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.

HARASSMENT — A report at 12:53 p.m. Saturday that her neighbor swore at her and threw a bag of garbage in her ditch on Camp Lake Road in Brainerd.

TRAFFIC — Twenty reports of traffic stops Monday night in Crosby that resulted in citations dealing with the Toward Zero Deaths seat belt project.

ANIMAL — A report at 8:58 p.m. Friday of the complainant hitting a bear and it’s still in the roadway on Crow Wing County Road 11 in Crosby.

A report at 6:09 p.m. Sunday that the neighbor’s dogs killed five of her calves on 70th Street in Brainerd.

A report at 7:38 a.m. Monday that the neighbor’s dog attacked and killed her cat on 6000 block of Ojibwa Road in Brainerd.

ARRESTS — Latisha M. Townley, 23, was arrested at 8:59 p.m. Saturday after a traffic stop in Crosby. Townley was booked for court pending felony fifth-degree possession drugs, storing meth paraphernalia, giving a peace officer a false name and other misdemeanor and petty misdemeanor charges.

Jason Nilsson, 31, was arrested at 12:17 a.m. Saturday on Butterfield Beach Road and Crow Wing County Road 1 in Emily for second-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI).

FIRE — A report at 3:20 p.m. Monday of a grass fire on 16000 block of Crow Wing County Road 109 in Merrifield. Mission Fire and DNR were paged.

A report at 7:24 a.m. Friday of a chimney fire on the 25000 block of Tame Fish Lake Road in Deerwood.

A fire was reported at 3:23 a.m. Saturday on 30th Street and Crow Wing County Road 2 in Brainerd. The DNR and Pierz Fire Department were paged.

A report at 3:17 p.m. Sunday that neighbors are burning on Woods Edge Trail in Brainerd.

A grass fire was reported at 2:31 p.m. Sunday on Mail Route Road in Brainerd. Garrison Fire and the DNR were paged.

Crosby police

OTHER — A report Sunday on Third Street Northeast of juveniles ripping open garbage bags full of leaves in the area. Officer responded and located one kid who stated that they wanted to jump into some leaves. Officer advised and the child retrieved a rake and started raking them into a pile the old fashioned way.

ARREST — A report Sunday that a vehicle by the Pennington Pit access, Ironton, had driven over some barrier cones that were blocking the road going up to the Cuyuna Overlook. Officer observed a vehicle dragging an orange cone. This is what officers commonly call a “Clue.” Officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver as Lindsey R. Utermoehl, 30, Pine City who was arrested for fourth-degree DWI.
