The Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating two suspects in connection with the Oct. 15 alleged methamphetamine manufacturing lab at an apartment complex located at 420 South Seventh Street in Brainerd.
The sheriff’s office has warrants out for the arrest of Daniel John Hoffman and Jade Nicole Christian, both age 19 of Brainerd. Hoffman is described as a 5’9” and 140 pounds male, with brown hair. Christian is described as a 5’2” and 100 pounds female, with long dark hair.
Brainerd police and firefighters responded to a report at 2:14 a.m. Oct. 15 of a fire in an apartment complex, located behind the Brainerd Salvation Army. As the building was evacuated, firefighters had to force open a door of an apartment where there was no response. No one was in the apartment, however a spent fire extinguisher was located as was the apparent origin of the fire. Examining the area of the fire, officers recognized several components used to manufacture methamphetamine. Hoffman and Christian were residents in that apartment unit.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Hoffman and Christian are encouraged to call the sheriff’s office at 829-4749. Callers can remain anonymous. It was reported that Hoffman and Christian have no criminal history.
