Brainerd police

ARRESTS — Received a report at 11:29 a.m. Thursday on South Seventh Street of a man with a gun in downtown Brainerd. The incident report doesn't indicate a gun was found. A 20-year-old woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, gross-misdemeanors related to a parole violation and introducing contraband drug-liquor into a correctional facility.

Arrested a 19-year-old woman for third degree assault after a call at 4:12 a.m. Friday on the 2600 block of Kermit Lane.

CHECK OUT — Received a call from a Brainerd area resident Sunday morning that his front door may be unlocked and he wanted an officer to check it.

FOUND & HONEST— A caller reported finding three bank deposit bags lying in the street Saturday in Brainerd.

FIRE — Unattended brush fire was reported Saturday two miles north on Sunset Valley Road, Pequot Lakes.

Richardson is a Pacelli High School graduate from Austin, Minn., who earned an applied science degree from the University of Minnesota, Waseca, with an emphasis in horse management. She worked extensively in the resort industry. She received an associate’s degree from Central Lakes College, where she was editor of the Westbank Journal student newspaper, as well as a summer intern at the Dispatch. She graduated from St. Cloud State University summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications and interned at the St. Cloud Times covering business while attending SCSU. She's been with the Brainerd Dispatch since 1996.
