Brainerd police

THEFT — A gas theft of about $30 was reported Wednesday at the 400 block of South Sixth Street.

Received a report of a gas drive-off Tuesday on the 1000 block of Southeast 12th Street and found the vehicle was later reported stolen.

Super America on the 300 block of Washington Street Tuesday reported a gas theft.

Wild Rice Depot Tuesday reported a gas drive-off.

A resident on Clara Street Tuesday reported identity theft.

SUSPICIOUS — Officers Tuesday were called to investigate a report of a marijuana odor in a building on the 400 block of College Drive but didn’t locate the smell.

The Holiday station on South Sixth Street, Tuesday asked an officer to check whether a bill was counterfeit.

SEARCH WARRANT — A search warrant was executed Tuesday on the 900 block of Norwood Street in an effort to recover stolen property.

CRASH — A deputy hit a deer sustaining vehicle damage Tuesday in Emily.

FIRE ALARM — Arrowwood Lodge at Brainerd Lakes, on Lake Forest Road, had a fire alarm at 5:54 a.m. Wednesday but the officer was canceled as the alarm was due to a broken sprinkler head.
