FOUND — A report at 10:58 a.m. Monday of complainant finding a safe in the river while checking his traps in Fort Ripley.
ARREST — A 46-year-old Oakdale man was arrested Saturday for fleeing a peace officer by a means other than a motor vehicle and failing to stop for an accident. The man was arrested after being involved in a one-vehicle crash reported at 9:15 p.m. Saturday on Crow Wing County Road 16 in Pequot Lakes. The man fled by foot and left the scene of a crash with minor injuries. He was located and taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd and was treated and released.
THEFT — SuperAmerica, 421 N.E. Washington St., Monday reported that a subject borrowed $10 for gas on the premise to return two hours later to pay and never returned.
A report at 10:24 a.m. Monday that her mother is missing a ring on the 2500 block of Greenwood St.
BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 12:44 p.m. Monday on the 13000 block of Norway Drive.
MEDICAL — A request for an ambulance at 11:22 a.m. Monday for a 10-year-old child choking on Fairview Road. Officers arrived and were advised that the child was not choking, but the dog was and it was already transported to the vet.
SPILL — Officers responded at 4 p.m. Sunday to the Ernie’s parking lot, at 1230 Highway 10, for a report of a diesel spill. Officers learned a Pierz individual had been attempting to load a semitrailer, which was having a brake issues, onto a flatbed trailer. While loading the disabled semitrailer, the fuel tanks were damaged and diesel had spilled onto the parking lot. The Staples Fire Department assisted with the clean up of the spilled diesel fuel.
THEFT — A report at 11:40 a.m. Sunday of a report of a theft from a storage shed on the 1400 block of Eighth St. N.E.
ARREST — A 35-year-old man was arrested at 4:01 p.m. Friday for domestic assault and terroristic threats and is being held in Todd County Detention Center.
CIVIL — A report Jan. 22 from a person from Fort Ripley wanting help with getting his birds back from a residence in Todd County. He was advised that it was a civil matter and he needed to address it with the other party or the court system.
THEFT — A report Friday of a theft of a handgun from a residence on Poplar Street. The theft possibly occurred months earlier. The handgun was recovered in Aitkin County and one person was taken into custody.

THEFT — A report Monday of a theft of a handgun from sometime over the weekend on the 300 block of 11th Street Southeast. The handgun is a Witness 45 Auto 1911 inside a locked ammo case with two clips and a box of shells. Value is $250.
A report Thursday of a possible vehicle stolen from the parking lot at Walmart, 15091 18th St. N.E.
A report Thursday of a theft of baby formula at Coborns, 1101 Second Ave. N.E.
ARREST —A 25-year-old woman was arrested Sunday for gross misdemeanor shoplifting at Walmart.
FIRE — A report Saturday of a chimney fire on the 600 block of Second Street Southeast. The fire department handled the call.
PROPERTY DAMAGE — A report Friday that numerous storage sheds had the locks cut and taken from JT’s Storage Center, 17504 Heron Road.
