Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday of a male sleeping in a van in the parking lot for several hours at Walgreens, 340 W. Washington St.

JUVENILE — A report at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday of a group of Brainerd High School students smoking at Quince Street and South Seventh Street. The students were transported back to the high school.

THEFT — A theft was reported at 5:40 a.m. Friday on the 400 block of East River Road.

A theft was reported at 6:31 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast.

A theft of money was reported at 3:15 p.m. Thursday on the 700 block of Mill Avenue.

A theft was reported 3:15 p.m. Thursday from the Sunshine Kitchen and Moonshine Lounge, 723 Mill Ave. N.E. It was reported that the incident occurred on Jan. 14. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made.

MEDICAL — A report at 5:34 p.m. Thursday that a child had burns on her body that were reported to be from hot chocolate that was spilled on the 1500 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

Crow Wing sheriff

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 1:42 a.m. Thursday on the 10000 block of Crow Wing County Road 25.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 7:58 a.m. Thursday that a male assaulted his 12-year-old son.

THEFT —A theft was reported at 8:30 a.m. Thursday on the 18000 block of Maryville Road, Brainerd.

Baxter police

ARREST — A 38-year-old man was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Friday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and for other traffic violations on Highland Scenic Road and Foley Road.

THEFT — A report at 11:50 a.m. Thursday of a theft of a rear license plate off of a vehicle.
