Crosby police

FOR THE BIRDS — Officer Friday responded to the Second Street Northeast area after receiving a report of an unusually high amount of pigeons and other large birds residing on and defecating around/on area houses. Officer did in fact note quite a flock of the winged creatures on a home there, pleasantly sunning themselves. Officer needed to advise a homeowner close by who has been feeding the birds large quantities of birdseed near the alleyway. Homeowner completely understood and stated they would take care of the issue.

ARREST — A 27-year-old Crosby man was arrested Jan. 29 for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana in a motor vehicle after a traffic stop in an alleyway off West Main Street.

A 35-year-old Detroit Lakes man was arrested Jan. 30 for third-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI).

ESCORT — Officers Saturday assisted the Crosby Dance Team as an escort as they have earned the honors of going to state.

Brainerd police

ARREST — A 41-year-old man was arrested Monday for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance.

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 8:13 p.m. Monday on the 300 block of North Eighth Street.

Baxter police

ARRESTS — A 24-year-old woman and a 51-year-old man were arrested at 12:06 a.m. Tuesday along the 3500 block of Highway 210 for felony drug charges.

Crow Wing sheriff

BURGLARY — A burglary was reported at 1:16 p.m. Monday on 215th Street in Garrison.

THEFT — A report at 8:22 a.m. Monday of a theft of scrap radiators on the 10000 block of Sleepy Hollow Road in Brainerd.
