Baxter police

ARREST — A 22-year-old male was arrested at 11:31 p.m. Friday for fifth-degree possession of drugs and damage to property after a report of a male, who was intoxicated, kicking a door in.

Crow Wing sheriff

ASSAULT — A report at 4:11 p.m. Sunday from the Minnesota State Patrol that a male assault victim had been hit so many times in the head that he could not tell me him name.

INFORMATION — A report at 2:47 p.m. Saturday that his driveway was plowed and he believes that it is his wife’s attempt to move back into the residence. He had no further evidence to support that it was his wife who plowed the driveway.

Staples police

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 5:47 p.m. Saturday of harassing communications. The complainant, 700 block of Forest Avenue Southeast, reported some phone calls from a restricted phone number, and reported receiving a strange text message that made reference to hiding a body. Officers traced the phone numbers and made contact with owner’s of the phone. The juveniles who were responsible for the calls and messages, along with a parent, were advised on the incident.

ARREST — A 25-year-old man was arrested at 1:04 a.m. Wednesday on a traffic stop on 225th Avenue for second-degree driving while intoxicated.

Brainerd police

SUSPICIOUS — A report at 11:10 p.m. Friday of a truck load of younger males consuming alcohol. Officers were unable to locate.

THEFT — A report at 10:25 p.m. Sunday of a theft of a cigarette ashtray/snuffer on the 400 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.

A report at 5:53 p.m. Sunday of a theft of an iPad mini from a vehicle on the 700 block of Mill Avenue.

A report at 1:34 p.m. Saturday of a theft of a bracelet on the 700 block of 28th Street.

A report at 12:57 p.m. Saturday of a theft of a video game on the 400 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast that occurred on Feb. 19.

A report at 6:04 p.m. Friday of a theft of a playstation controller on the 700 block of Bluff Avenue.

A report at 5 p.m. Friday of a theft of a wallet out of the men’s locker room at Central Lakes College, 501 W. College Dr.
