Judge taking case under advisement in police chase case
■ Court date reset again in stabbing case
The 39-year-old St. Paul man accused of stabbing another man in a vehicle on Jan. 27, 2011, in Nisswa, will next appear in court on May 8.
Jon Martin Johnson, charged with felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in Crow Wing County District Court, is accused of stabbing Timothy Porter three times while the two were in a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 371 and Crow Wing County Road 13 in Nisswa.
Johnson’s court hearings have been reset since Aug. 31, 2011, with his last court date April 10.

LITTLE FALLS — A 32-year-old Avon man involved in a pursuit Jan. 6 on Highway 10 in Little Falls topping speeds above 100 mph that ended in the vehicle crashing into a fence was seen April 18 in Morrison County District Court.
The judge is taking the case for Jesse Lee Kirschman — charged with felony first-degree possession of drugs, possessing 25 grams or more of cocaine, heroin, meth, felony fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle, possessing a pistol/assault weapon and a gross misdemeanor of refusing to submit a chemical test — under advisement.
