THEFT — A report at 3:56 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of items on the 1100 block of Mill Avenue.
BURGLARY — A report at 3:52 p.m. Tuesday of a burglary on the 200 block of Southwest Fourth Street.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 1:31 p.m. Tuesday of a male student causing a disturbance with several staff members at the Lincoln Education Center, 604 S. Sixth St.
A report at 12:22 p.m. Tuesday wanting assistance with a male student who is out of control at Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St.
DRIVING — A report at 9:29 a.m. Tuesday of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the street on College Drive and River Road. Officer checked and was unable to locate.
THEFT — A report at 4:24 p.m. Tuesday of three suspects leaving J.C. Penny, 7352 Glory Road, with un-paid merchandise.
A report at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday of a theft of three UPS package from a front porch on the 13000 block of Meredith Drive.
SUSPICIOUS — A report at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday requesting extra patrol on the 4700 block of Briarwood Lane. The complainant states in November and December there were two items stolen from their backyard. They would see footprints in the snow at different times in the backyard. This week someone took a wicker bench from the front porch and placed it facing the house in front of a bedroom window on the same porch.
DISTURBANCE — A report at 9:11 a.m. Tuesday of a disturbance on school bus No. 42.
ARRESTS — A 29-year-old man was arrested Jan. 28 after officer were called around 1:45 a.m. to the area of Cross Avenue and West Main Street of a male who was causing a disturbance/problems there. Officers made contact with the male, who fought with officers and resisted arrest. After several minutes, officers were able to handcuff him and he was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and obstructing legal process with force. Officers also were notified that the man had damaged a window at a business, so the man was charged with gross misdemeanor of damage to property.
A 29-year-old man was arrested Jan. 28 for first-degree criminal sexual conduct after a report at a residence on fifth Avenue Southwest.
JUVENILE — A report Jan. 29 of three kids smoking by a building on First Street Southwest. Officer made contact with three juvenile males and followed up with their parents.
A report Jan. 29 of a juvenile male who had cigarettes in his possession on Third Street Southwest. The male was identified, the cigarettes taken and he was transported home to a parent.
