ARRESTS — A 22-year-old man was arrested at 1:48 a.m. Friday on Eighth Avenue Northeast and Washington Street for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated (DWI) and open container. A 23-year-old woman was arrested for obstructing the legal process.


A 57-year-old man was arrested and booked for second-degree burglary after a report at 8:15 p.m. Thursday on the 1300 block of Norwood Street that there are people in the complainant’s house taking items.

INTOXICATED — A report at 11:49 p.m. Thursday of a drunk female refusing to get out of the taxi and pay her bill on the 400 block of Vine Street. Officer assisted her out and helped her find money to pay Brainerd Area Taxi.

BURGLARY — A report at 4:49 p.m. Thursday of a burglary on the 1500 block of Oak Street.

A report at 1:32 p.m. Thursday of a burglary of a residence on the 700 block of South Fifth Street that is owned by the Brainerd School District.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 1:49 p.m. Thursday of a female student causing a disturbance and refusing to leave Brainerd High School (BHS), 702 S. Fifth St.

A report at 10:18 a.m. Thursday of a student causing a disturbance on the school bus, No. 83, at BHS.
