Police Blotter - Aug. 8

Brainerd police

FLEEING - Baxter K-9 and Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office assisted Brainerd police at 11:25 p.m. Wednesday in tracking a suspect who fled on foot and has felony warrants on the 1200 block of Maple Street. A 35-year-old man was arrested for gross misdemeanor obstructing the legal process, fleeing on foot, possession of a small amount of marijuana and five warrants.

ARRESTS — A 27-year-old man was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Wednesday for disorderly conduct, domestic assault and obstructing the legal process following a report of a disturbance on the 800 block of Seventh Avenue Northeast.

Three people were arrested at 12:50 p.m. Wednesday following an attempt to locate a theft incident on the 1400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast. A 27-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman were arrested on warrants and a 53-year-old woman was arrested for harboring a fugitive.

DISTURBANCE — A report at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday of a male and female yelling at each other on the 1600 block of Quince Street.

CITATIONS — Two 17-year-old males were cited at 8:16 p.m. Wednesday for misdemeanor property damage on Pine Street and Beech Street. A 16-year-old male also was cited for property damage and indecent conduct.

BURGLARY — A report Wednesday of a burglary to a garage on the 200 block of Third Avenue Northeast.

Baxter police

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 1:41 a.m. Thursday that complainant thought she saw someone standing around her vehicle on the 6500 block of Excelsior Road. Officer was unable to locate and complainant said she wasn't sure if she saw somebody.

DISTURBANCE - A report at 9:52 p.m. Wednesday of a physical altercation with a male friend on the 14000 block of Grand Oaks Drive. Male left on bike and officers were unable to locate.

DRIVING - A report at 9:52 a.m. Wednesday of two males physically fighting in a truck on College Road and Bypass Highway 371 and it almost hit the complainant's vehicle.

Little Falls police

THEFT - A report Wednesday of a theft of a vehicle on the 800 block of Sixth street Northeast.

ARRESTS - A man and a woman were arrested at 7:31 p.m. Tuesday at Maple Island Park when officers recognized them from numerous contacts with police. They took off when they saw the officers. The woman had a warrant out for her arrest.

A 49-year-old man was arrested at 1:21 p.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of Fifth Street Northeast for a warrant.

SUSPICIOUS - A report at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday of juveniles ringing door bells in the area of Sixth Street and Seventh Avenue Northeast. Officers were unable to locate.

Morrison sheriff

SUSPICIOUS - A report Monday that complainant was on a walk in the gravel pit located near her home on 205th Street in Randall that she discovered parts left over from a homemade bomb. Resident stated that a couple of weeks ago she heard a loud bang, but didn't know what it was. Resident showed the deputy the parts lying around and it was determined that the pieces were actually parts of a dishwater someone had destroyed in the pit.

A report Wednesday of finding a dead rabbit on complainant's front porch on 350th Avenue in Pierz.

A report at 11:39 p.m. Sunday of five to six males acting strange in the parking lot at the Friendly Inn, 33637 E. Shamineau Drive, Motley, coming into

FIRE - A report at 3:51 p.m. Monday of a vehicle fire on Highway 371 near Highway 1. Assisted with traffic until firefighters put out fire.

THEFT - A report Wednesday of a theft of a set of four-wheeler ramps taken from Stanchfield Lake Road in Motley.

A report Monday of a theft of a Billy Goat brand Grazor from the side of Dove Road and Bear Road in Cushing.

ACCIDENT - A report Aug. 2 of a patient at St. Gabriel's Hospital, 815 Second St. SE, being struck by a car. Patient had minor injuries to his arm.

PROPERTY DAMAGE - A report Aug. 2 that a window was broken out of Word of Life Church in Burtrum.

A report Aug. 1 that someone had shot up the rec building in Cushing.

ANIMAL - A report July 31 of a rabid animal at Cedar Lake Campground in Burtram. It was a red fox that had to be dispatched.

BURGLARY - A report July 31 of a burglary on the 11000 block of Highway 238, Little Falls.
