Police Blotter - Feb. 16

Brainerd police

DOMESTIC—Report at 4:16 p.m. Tuesday of a verbal domestic on the 1600 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast. Parties agreed to separate for the night.

Report at 5:22 p.m. Monday of a verbal domestic dispute on the 500 block of West College Drive. Officers made contact with subjects and male left for the night.

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 2:28 p.m. Tuesday of a suspicious person walking down the road with an ice auger on North Second Street and Kingwood Street.

BURGLARY—Report at 12:07 a.m. Wednesday of an unknown individual who entered complainant's locked residence on the 300 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast. Complainant stated several unknown items were taken.

ARRESTS—A 55-year-old woman and a 67-year-old man were arrested at 2:31 p.m. Tuesday during a welfare check on the 1300 block of Rosewood Street. The woman was arrested for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and the man for a warrant.

DISTURBANCE—Report at 1:36 p.m. Tuesday of a male student causing a disturbance at the Lincoln Educational Center, 604 S. Sixth St.

Crow Wing sheriff

ASSAULT—Report at 10:39 p.m. Tuesday of an assault in the Crow Wing County Jail, 313 Laurel St.

THEFT—Report Tuesday of a theft of two propane tanks on the 22000 block of Ministers Point Road, Deerwood.

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 7:33 a.m. Tuesday of a suspicious vehicle on the 10000 block of Highway 169, Garrison. The call was unfounded.

Report at 3:27 a.m. Tuesday of suspicious activity on the 5000 block of Pine Beach Road, Brainerd. Subject was gone before deputies arrived.

DISTURBANCE—Report at 5:06 a.m. Tuesday of a disturbance on the 27000 block of Greenwood Isle Circle, Deerwood. Subject was gone before deputies arrived.

Baxter police

ARRESTS—A 54-year-old man was arrested at 7:37 p.m. Tuesday following a report of a domestic on the 15000 block of Edgewood Drive.

A 33-year-old man was arrested at 7:07 p.m. Tuesday of theft and a warrant following a theft report on the 14000 block of Baxter Drive.

THEFT—Report Tuesday of a catalytic converter taken out of a delivery truck in the past month at Sears, 15910 Edgewood Drive.

Little Falls police

SUSPICIOUS—Report at 2:07 a.m. Monday of suspicious activity on the 700 block of Seventh Street Northeast where a garage light was on in a detached garage that shouldn't be on.

Report at 7:14 p.m. Sunday of street lights flashing on and off on Highway 27 near 18th Street. Minnesota Power was called.

Report at 1:40 p.m. Sunday of someone trimming trees behind a house on the 1200 block of Eighth Street Northeast. Caller made contact with them who said they were from the power company.

Report at 12:13 a.m. Sunday of two subjects outside a garage on the 700 block of Third Street Southeast, who didn't belong there. Officers made contact and everything looked fine.

Report at 6:52 p.m. Feb. 10 of three suspicious kids on bikes on the 1300 block of Fifth Avenue Southeast. The caller stated the kids jumped a fence and went across Highway 10. Officers were unable to locate.

Report at 12:34 a.m. Feb. 9 of a male sleeping behind the wheel on the 500 block of Broadway West. Officer made contact and male was OK.

Report at 12:51 a.m. Feb. 3 of a subject yelling as they walked down a sidewalk on the 200 block of First Street Northeast. Officers made contact and subject was intoxicated and transported to the St. Cloud hospital.

ARREST—A 50-year-old man was arrested at 9:54 p.m. Feb. 8 following a report of a domestic dispute on the 100 block of Second Avenue Northeast involving an intoxicated male who was on probation.
