Pierz seniors named for Triple 'A' Award
Pierz High School seniors Kelsi Stuckmayer and Jesse Marshik were selected to represent Pierz in the Academics, Arts, and Athletics Award program at the District 19 AAA banquet on Jan. 24 at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud.
Stuckmayer is the daughter of Marvin and Ruth Stuckmayer and Marshik is the son of Gregg and Kristi Marshik.
Established in 1988, the Triple "A" Award is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to high school seniors who have a "B" or better grade point average and who participate in league-sponsored athletics and fine arts activities.
Stuckmayer is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, softball, pit band, pep band, honors band, band, Minnesota Honor Society, Peer Helping, Where Everyone Belongs, Reading Buddies, Youth Group, Youth Coach and SALT, the Pioneer Student Athletic Leadership Team. Marshik is involved in football, basketball, baseball, Concert Choir, WEB, Peer Helping, Youth Group, MHS and Encouraging Positive Influences and Choices.
