Ronald Kresha

Age: 42

Current employment: Golden Shovel Agency, Rice Creek Hunting Preserve

Public office experience: School Board

Party affiliation: GOP

What makes you the most qualified candidate for the post you’re seeking?:

As a former teacher, small business owner, CFO and current rural economic development advocate, I have the knowledge, skills and expertise to represent House District 9B. I believe our primary goal is to grow ourselves out of this rural recession. We need to support the agriculture industry and businesses in our area with initiatives to grow, not regulations to constrict growth. By putting our best foot forward and walking into the economic headwinds with optimism, we can revitalize Morrison and Todd Counties. As your state representative, I will lead the charge for growth.

Adrian Welle

Age: 27

Current employment: City clerk Upsala

Public office experience:

City council member city of Pierz (four years) Appointed city clerk/treasurer, B.A. public administration.

Party affiliation: DFL

What makes you the most qualified candidate for the post you’re seeking?: My experience on the Pierz City Council, serving as Upsala city clerk and my education has not only given me knowledge-based experience in state laws, statutes, plans, budgeting, and legislative sessions, but it has given me hands-on experience. As a council member and city clerk, what the state passes each year in their legislative session directly affects everything local cities do on a daily basis. This means that I not only have to know about everything going on at the state and local level, but I have had the opportunity to be a part of it in local ways.
