Weaver will stay on as mayor in Breezy

JoAnne Weaver will continue to be the Breezy Point mayor after defeating Scott Willer in Tuesday’s election. Weaver received 803 votes and Willer had 468 votes.

There were two open seat for city council and incumbent Otto Schmid will remain in his seat. Schmid had 488 votes. Diane Williams will join the council. Williams received the most votes with 570. Other candidate votes were Joe Kocak had 418 votes and Michael Moroni had 473 votes.
