Lawmakers mull home day care safety measures

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Minnesota lawmakers plan to consider new safety requirements for the state's thousands of home day care providers, including posting providers' inspection records online for parents to peruse.

State regulators proposed the new safety measures in response to an increase in child deaths at home day care centers, the Star Tribune reported (http://bit.ly/119Y0rw ).
