Let's quit fooling ourselves
Brainerd MN 506 James St. / PO Box 974 56401

About 10 years ago a bunch of fanatics decided to get proactive and turn up the heat on America. Hence 9/11. We went after them and they fled to safe haven in the mountains owned by our so-called friends in Pakistan. There they sit and smirk and scheme. They know we could come and get them, but we won't. They know that they would lose a conventional war, so they chose to just pick away and stir the pot, brewing enough dissension in the governments over there, to keep us from accomplishing much. Their efforts are largely financed by the sale of drugs to us, their enemy. They know we possess awesome weapons we can't use. They know we have allies' that have no stomach for fighting with us and we're largely in this alone.

They decided a long time ago that victory would come when they financially break our country and right now, they have a good start. They know that at some time in the future the American people will give up on this venture and take their brave men and women home, like they did in Vietnam. That this country will get tired of being stripped of its dignity in airports and tired of funding a war effort that finds victory in blowing up three terrorists in a rusty pickup with costly missiles that would fund their efforts for months. They have lots of pickups and lots of volunteers for their cause. Our actions are the greatest recruiting effort they could ever dream up.

What we are doing will never end this war unless we quit pandering to world opinion and get it done. Tell Pakistan, "Give them to us, or we're coming in." We're tired of messing around.
