The day after pounding Cambridge 74-41 in the consolation semi-finals of the state Class AA tournament, the Warriors went into double-overtime before dropping the consolation final to the 2nd-ranked Edina Hornets 91-89. Edina finishes 26-2; Brainerd at 16-12.

Two men will face charges here after a high-speed motorcycle chase through the streets of Brainerd early today that reached 100 miles per hour. Police lost the cyclists, but one later turned himself in and the other later crashed his cycle and was found in hospital.

The Lions and Kiwanis Clubs have taken on the Vocational School as a partner in their Boom Lake park and wildlife refuge project. Currently, ducks gathering around aerated water are having nets shot over them by cannons. The ducks are then banded.
