The Highway Patrol, National Guard and game wardens were making a frantic search for an anesthetist who was hunting in the woods on Camp Ripley. The man was sought by the hospital to assist with victims of a car crash that killed six and injured six more.

The Garfield and Lincoln school PTA groups approved a proposed fluoridation project for the city of Brainerd at their meetings. This was the first definite step in support of a Brainerd Dental society program to fluoridate the city's water supply to reduce decay.

(Photo)Bill “Bus” Fitzharris, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fitzharris of S. 6th Street, Brainerd football and basketball star, now captains the St. Thomas eleven. He leads them in battle today against Concordia for the State Conference college football championship.

The Methodist Ladies Aid society will hold a fair and give a chicken pie supper Monday evening at Walker Hall. The ladies are famed for the way they prepare chicken. If you ever taste one of their suppers you will form the habit and attend every one.
