Last Monday a rural Pine River game warden was cited by the State Patrol for allegedly speeding. The seemingly routine citation has added fuel to rumors of an on-going feud between the Patrol and the DNR. Both parties involved deny that is the case.

The Pequot constable was fined $75 by Justice of the Peace Houge of Ideal township for having two deer in his possession out of season. Deputy Game Warden Nelson said he found the deer hanging in the constable's garage.

After football comes basketball, and for the first time in school history students will have a place to play the popular indoor game. The new gym has been fitted up in fine shape and great interest is being manifested in the game as it is practically new at B.H.S.
