With just four days to go before the election, an unscientific, man-on-the-street poll showed only three voters undecided as to who to vote for as president. One will decide on election day; the other two won’t vote because they don’t like any candidate.

Trailing 8-6 going into the 4th quarter, Fergus Falls JC erupted for four TDs and ripped the Brainerd JC Raiders 33-14 in the final game of the season. Brainerd’s only bright spot in the final quarter was Randy Fladebo’s 68-yard TD jaunt.

Preparation of ballots was completed by the office of County Auditor Fred Hagberg and they will be mailed tomorrow to the 54 county precincts. Printing of the county ballots was completed last week by the Dispatch Printery, with 13,800 ballots being ordered.

Nine extra policemen, in plain clothes, have been placed on the force by Chief Ridley to protect property. “No one,” said Ridley, “objects to a little innocent fun on Halloween night. But anyone found doing damage will be arrested.”
