Brainerd City Hall is an art gallery. Since Nov. 5 the home of government has been home to 21 works of art by such local artists as Bill Grange, Bunny Humphrey, Evelyn Matthies and Kathy Porwall, all members of the Brainerd Art Club.

The pupils of the Whittier School have donated freely for the poor of the city and the school actually sent a wagon load of provisions which was gathered up by Alderman Smith. The Bachelor Maids will apportion it out in dinners for the deserving poor.
