Digital mini-series featuring Teddy Bridgewater, Wentz Wagon is a must-see

Bleacher Report

For many, it shouldn't take long to figure out where popular digital sports publication Bleacher Report got its inspiration for the latest episode of its hit digital mini-series "Gridiron Heights."

"Dear fellas, I can't believe how fast things move on the outside," a narrator says about 10 seconds in. Sound familiar?

The phrase is a popular quote taken from the classic 1994 movie "The Shawshank Redemption." It is also the quote used in the most-recent episode of "Gridiron Heights," except instead of Morgan Freeman playing the part of Brooks Hatlen, it's Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater.

You'll see many brief, subtle comedic gags throughout the minute-long episode. For example, in one instance the narrator (Teddy Bridgewater) says, "I saw a touchdown celebration once when I was a kid, but now, they're everywhere."

The best jab may be at the end of the episode. You'll just have to see for yourself. You can watch the 60-second episode below.
